A fortnight after former finance minister P Chidambaram moved a writ petition in the Supreme Court seeking protection of his right to privacy and dignity, his son Karti Chidambaram followed suit and filed a similar petition on Monday seeking protection from a roving probe by the CBI and the ED which, he said, was aimed at harassing him as part of political vendetta. The court will hear the plea on Tuesday.
