The Supreme Court on Friday brought relief to actor Sonu Sood who had moved the top court against a Bombay High Court order dismissing his case against the BMC notice over an alleged illegal construction at his residential building in Mumbai. Sonu Sood later withdrew his petition from Supreme Court after the bench observed that no coercive action be taken against Sonu Sood until BMC decides on his pending application for regularisation.
