The Maharashtra government’s petition has been dismissed by the SC and upheld the Bombay High Court’s stay on 67% domicile quota in private and deemed medical colleges. This will certainly pave the way for meritorious medical students of other states to get admission in Maharashtra. It extended the deadline to prepare fresh list based on merit.
