A special CBI court has ordered judicial custody for Sandip Ghosh, the former principal of RG Kar Medical College, along with co-accused Biplab Singha, Suman Hazra, and Afsar Ali, until September 23. The accused were arrested in connection with financial irregularities at the state-run hospital, which surfaced following the rape and murder of a post-graduate trainee doctor on August 9.
