Mumbai cannot be called an unsafe city based on one incident, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Thursday, reacting to the stabbing attack on actor Saif Ali Khan in Bandra. His remarks came not so long after AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal attacked the Maharashtra government over the 54-year-old actor's stabbing.
"Mumbai is the safest. It is wrong to say that Mumbai is an unsafe city on the basis of only one such incident," Devendra Fadnavis said.
