Shiromani Akali Dal on Wednesday fielded Bikram Singh Majithia against Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu from Amritsar East seat in the state Assembly election. SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal said Majithia will ensure that Sidhu would forfeit his security deposit. The Punjab and Haryana High Court had on Monday rejected Majithia's anticipatory bail plea in an alleged drugs case.
