India captain Rohit Sharma became the most successful captain in the history of T20Is following his team’s thumping win over England in the second semi-final of the T20 World Cup 2024. Following India’s win, Rohit registered his 49th win in T20Is as captain, leaving behind Pakistan’s Babar Azam.
Babar has 48 wins in T20Is as the skipper from 85 matches, having a win percentage of 56.47. On the other hand, Rohit has 49 wins to his name from 61 matches with a win percentage of 78.68.
