The case, being investigated by the Enforcement Directorate, involves the purchase of a London-based property. So far, the agency has questioned Mr Vadra eight times. Ahead of the coming national elections, the BJP has relentlessly targeted the Congress over the allegations against Robert Vadra, who has called the matter a "political witch hunt".
Businessman Robert Vadra was given conditional bail but Special Arvind Kumar said that Vadra cannot leave the country without permission. Vadra was also asked to furnish a personal bond of Rs 5 lakhs and a surety of the same amount. Meanwhile, the Enforcement Directorate plans to move the High Court against the trial court's verdict in the case.
