The recommendations made by the 7th Pay Commission are being looked into by the Empowered Committee of Secretaries (E-CoS) to be presented before the Union Cabinet next week. The 7th Pay Commission had proposed a total of 196 allowances. The long wait of the government employees is likely to end soon with hope of an update by next week.
