Renault India, today finally launched its second compact SUV in India- the Captur - and this one is a more premium offering from the carmaker when compared to the Duster. The base variant of the Captur comes with 50 premium features like projector headlamps, LED DRLs, and an integrated audio system among others. The Captur follows Renault’s global design language and is based on the same M0 platform as the Duster. It will be available in 3 variants RXE, RXL and RXT and will be available in both petrol and diesel engines. Renault also introduced another top-spec ‘Platine’ variant which makes it global debut in India. The Platine variant comes with all the bells and whistles but is only available with a diesel powertrain. Dispatchesfor the Captur began last month while bookings commenced in late September.
