India has recorded the highest-ever surge in its single-day coronavirus cases. In the past 24 hours, India has recorded 38,902 fresh coronavirus cases, taking the country's tally to 10,77,618. A total of 543 people have died due to coronavirus. The death toll in the country has now climbed to 26,816. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said on Sunday that India tested 358,127 samples to detect Covid-19 on Saturday. Till now, India has tested 1,37,91,869 samples.
