The country's first semi-high speed regional rail service was renamed Namo Bharat on Thursday, a day before Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurates it on Friday. Originally conceived as Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS), it was later branded as RapidX by combining two words Rapid and Express.
