Days after her arrest, actress Ranya Rao was on Friday sent to the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) custody from March 9 to 11 in the gold smuggling case, the Economic Offenses Court said. Earlier in the day, she confessed to the crime and told the DRI that 17 pieces of gold bar were recovered from her possession.
