Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Saturday said that party MLA Anil Singh, who yesterday voted in favour of the BJP candidate in the Rajya Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh, had been suspended for cross-voting. Speaking to the media, Mayawati alleged that the BJP tried to use the Rajya Sabha elections to demolish the newly-formed relationship between her party and the Samajwadi Party (SP).
