Meanwhile, the House passes the Farmers’ Produce Trade and Commerce (Protection and Facilitation) Bill by a voice vote amidst protest. The House also passed the Farmers (Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill with all amendments to it moved by the Opposition, defeated by a voice vote. The Opposition members walked into the Well and also tried to use force to tamper with the public address system at the Chair’s Desk.
