The Election commission has announced that it would appoint actor Rajkummar Rao as its national icon, ahead of upcoming elections. A formal ceremony to bestow this honour upon the actor will be held on Thursday, as confirmed by the election commission of India.Rajkummar is yet to issue an official statement on the development.
