Mohandas Gandhi High School, an institute in Gujarat's Rajkot where Mahatma Gandhi had studied during his childhood, is being closed down to build a museum. Built in 1853 during the British rule, the school was called Alfred High School before independence. Notably, Mahatma Gandhi had graduated from the school in 1887 at the age of 18.
