The way Rajasthan political drama has been unfolding, it surely does not have the imprint of the typical style of top BJP leadership. The result is that BJP in Rajasthan has decided to shift 12 of its MLAs to a resort outskirt of Ahmedabad and six others to another resort in Porbandar. This is the first time in last one decade that BJP has shifted its MLAs fearing poaching by Congress.
“Ashok Gehlot government is using all tricks and there were reports of local pressure being built on these MLAs. They have gone to Ahmedabad on their own and may visit Somnath temple today,” said Satish Poonia, BJP state president of Rajasthan.
