Congress leader Rahul Gandhi pleaded not guilty in the court of chief judicial magistrate (CJM) on Thursday in a criminal defamation case filed against him by a BJP MLA.
Purnesh Modi, MLA from Surat-West constituency, had filed a complaint on April 16 under IPC Sections 499 and 500 that deal with criminal defamation.
