The Shree Jagannath Temple in Odisha's Puri is likely to reopen to devotees from December 23 onwards after being closed for nine months due to COVID-19, temple administration has said. COVID-19 protocol will be strictly observed when the shrine reopens, temple administrator Krishan Kumar said. People of Puri will get the first opportunity to enter the temple, Kumar said.
