Punjab government on Friday ordered an extension of the existing COVID-19 restrictions till September 30, in view of the upcoming festival season. All gatherings have been limited to a maximum of 300 people. Punjab government employees failing to take even the first COVID-19 vaccine dose (for any reason other than medical) will be sent on compulsory leave after September 15.
