Tamilisai Soundararajan, the Telangana Governor who took additional charge as Lieutenant Governor (LG) of Puducherry, has ordered floor test in the legislative assembly on February 22 by 5 pm. It will ascertain whether the Congress government enjoys a majority in Puducherry. Earlier, BJP, AIADMK and NR Congress submitted a memorandum to LG stating the present government is a minority government.
