Ahmedabad: This will be a first project in Gujarat, that Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is set to hand over two of its English medium schools to Pune-based NGO under a public-private partnership for a 10 years’ period.
Administrative Officer of AMC, LD Desai said that the proposal has been received by Akanksha Foundation and soon to be signed. In which the NGO will borne the infrastructure, teacher learning material, school events etc. While Akanksha Foundation is currently running 21 schools under public-private partnership model.
