Two days after clashes in and around Jamia Millia Islamia, violence erupted again in the capital over the amended citizenship Act when 2,000-odd protesters fought a pitched battle with the police in northeast Delhi’s Seelampur area, attacking cops and residents with stones, bottles and sticks. Two police booths and a public toilet were torched.
