The Centre on Saturday said that private hospitals functioning as COVID-19 vaccination centres may recover a charge subject to a ceiling of ₹250 per person per dose. Vaccines will be free at government facilities, the Centre had announced earlier. People above 60 years of age and those above 45 years of age with comorbidities will be vaccinated from March 1.
