President Ram Nath Kovind has appointed Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit, who held additional charge of Punjab Governor, as regular Punjab Governor. RN Ravi, Nagaland Governor, has been appointed Tamil Nadu Governor while Assam Governor Jagdish Mukhi will discharge the functions of Nagaland Governor in addition to his own duties. Lt General Gurmit Singh (Retd) will be Uttarakhand Governor.
