YSR (Yuvajana Shramika Rythu) Congress leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was on Thursday attacked by a man with a sharp-edged object at the airport. The attack puts in sharp focus as to how the attacker could carry a sharp-edged weapon inside the high-security area of an international airport. The attack on Reddy has raised the political temperature in Andhra Pradesh. The YSR Congress leaders have blamed the ruling TDP government for the attack. On the other hand, Nara Lokesh, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu's son and IT Minister in the state government has condemned the attack saying "such cowardly attacks have no place in society."
