Congress' Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday criticised the Centre over the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP) plan, alleging that the government is selling all assets created over 70 years to PM Narendra Modi's "industrialist friends". "(Centre) is in the process of selling India's crown jewels," Gandhi said. BJP government's privatisation plan is aimed at creating monopolies in key sectors, he added.
