A former personnel in Punjab Police has been arrested due to possession of 500 grams of heroin. He has beden sent to five-day custody. In another major development, Israeli forces have killed the country’s own three civilians after wrongly identifying them as threats, during its campaign in Gaza. PM Benjamin Netanyahu and the forces have condoled the death of the killings. In a X (formerly Twitter) post, the prime minister asked Israeli forces to take lessons from this incident. Three civilians who have been killed have been identified as Yotam Haim, Samer Talalka, and Alon Shamriz. Meanwhile, Hamas continues to keep over 100 hostages in captivity in Gaza after taking them into hostage on October 7 during the attack on Israel
