Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be addressing the nation on Thursday evening at 4pm. Although there has been no word from the government on the subject of his address, it is being speculated that the PM may finally speak to the nation on the government's momentous decision to scrap Article 370.

According to a report in PTI, PM Modi is expected to explain the government's decisions on abrogating special status to Jammu and Kashmir and splitting the state into two union territories.

While Home Minister Amit Shah has addressed both Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha while introducing the Jammu and Kashmir resolutions and the J&K Reorganisation Bill, PM Modi is yet to make an address himself.
