Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Jammu and Kashmir on April 19 to inaugurate the world's highest railway arch bridge over the river Chenab and the flagging off ceremony of Vande Bharat Express between Katra and Srinagar has been postponed, official sources said.
Amid ongoing anti-terror operations in the adjoining districts of Udhampur, Kathua and Poonch the entire security grid was kept in a state of high alert to prevent any targeted strike ahead of the visit of the Prime Minister.
