Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday offered prayers at Parvati Kund in Uttarakhand's Pithoragarh. Upon his arrival at the hill town, PM Modi began the day with a darshan of the Adi Kailash peak, an abode of Lord Shiva.
The Prime Minister, who is on a day-long visit to the hill state, sought blessings from the holy Adi-Kailash at his abode. The site is renowned globally for its spiritual importance and unalloyed and breathtaking natural beauty. Prime Minister Modi also visited Gunji village and interacted with the locals. He will also lay the foundation stones of several development projects during his one-day visit to the state. With this, the Prime Minister is also scheduled to address a public meeting here.
