Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated India's first under-river metro tunnel in Kolkata today i.e. on 6 March. The metro tunnel has been built under Kolkata's Hooghly River that will connect Howrah Maidan to Esplanade. The Prime Minister also took metro ride in Kolkata metro along with school students.
