Prime Minister-elect Narendra Modi extended his compliments to students on Friday,i.e., June 7, 2024 for their dedication and hard work, as India's presence in the QS World University Rankings saw a remarkable 318 percent increase.

Addressing the nation, PM Modi acknowledged this significant achievement and reiterated his administration's commitment to furthering research and innovation in his third term. The QS World University Rankings for 2025, released on Wednesday, highlighted this progress, with IIT Bombay and IIT Delhi securing spots among the top 150 universities globally.

"Over the last decade, we have focused on qualitative changes in the education sector. This is reflected in the QS World University Rankings. Compliments to the students, faculty and institutions for their hard work and dedication. In this term, we want to do even more to boost research and innovation," PM Modi's X post reads.
