Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri has expressed grief over Dubai-Calicut Air India Express flight accident. "[The plane] overshot the runway in rainy conditions and went down 35 feet into a slope before breaking up into two pieces," the minister tweeted. The DGCA said that the visibility at the airport was 2000 metres at the time of the incident.
