Noted Gujarati photo journalist Zaverilal Mehta passed away in Ahmedabad on Monday. He was 97.Mehta was conferred with Padma Shri award in the field of literature and education-journalism in 2018.
A native of Halvad in Surendranagar district, he worked for leading daily, Gujarat Samachar, for decades.He is survived by wife Ramaben, three daughters and a son.
