Uttar Pradesh recorded a voter turnout of 60.44% till 5 pm on Monday in the second phase of the Assembly elections held in nine districts. Saharanpur saw the highest voter turnout (67.13%), followed by Amroha (66.19%) and Moradabad (64.88%). A total of 586 candidates, including SP leader Azam Khan, across 55 constituencies were in the fray in this phase.
