Oil Marketing Companies effected another hike in fuel prices on Monday. Petrol and diesel prices were up 40 paise, taking the total increase in rates in the last two weeks to Rs 8.40 per litre. In the national capital, petrol now costs Rs 103.81 per litre as against Rs 103.41 previously, while diesel costs Rs 95.07, according to a price notification of state fuel retailers.
