The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has released a psychoanalytic profile of Sanjay Roy, the prime suspect in the Kolkata doctor rape-murder case.
The profile describes Roy as "a pervert with an animal-like instinct" who displayed no remorse during his interrogation.
A CBI officer revealed that Roy is "severely addicted to pornography" and did not express any regret for his actions that sparked nationwide outrage.
The autopsy report of the victim revealed that she had been raped and brutally assaulted, with 16 external and nine internal injuries.The cause of death was determined to be strangulation.
The CBI officer confirmed that several pornographic clips were found on Roy's mobile phone.Technical and scientific evidence also placed him at the crime scene.
CCTV footage showed him near the chest department at 11:00am on August 8, and entering the same building around 4:00am on August 9.The estimated time of death for the woman was between 3:00am and 5:00am on August 9.
