 The Pakistan Marine Security Agency (PMSA) detained 48 fishermen from Gujarat on November 10 and 11. The fishermen were caught near the International Maritime Boundary Line off Jakhau coast. They were sailing in eight boats that were also seized. Manish Lodhari, secretary, National Fish Workers’ Forum (NFF), told TOI that in the last five days, Pakistan has apprehended 79 fishermen along with their 15 boats. On November 9, PMSA had released 32 fishermen nearly 12 hours after they were detained off Jakhau.
