Pakistan rejected India's request to allow over its air space Prime Minister Narendra Modi's flight to the United States later this week. Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the decision has been taken in the wake of "India's atrocities and human rights violations in Kashmir". Pakistan had recently denied permission to President Ram Nath Kovind's aircraft to use its airspace during an official visit to Iceland.
