A day after the horrific terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 28 lives, Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday visited Srinagar to pay his respects to the victims and reassure their families that justice would be served.

In a solemn ceremony held at the Police Control Room (PCR) in Srinagar, Shah laid wreaths on the coffins of the deceased, many of whom were tourists from different parts of India.

The tribute was attended by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, who also paid homage to the victims of what is being described as one of the deadliest attacks on civilians in the region in recent years.
