The Indian Navy received over 80,000 applications from women candidates for its newly launched Senior Secondary Recruit and Matric recruit process. The recruitment for the above-mentioned profiles will be done under the ‘Agnipath’ scheme. In all, over 9.55 lakh applications were received by the Navy. Of these 82,000 are women aspirants.
