The judgement of the Bombay High Court in Bilkis Bano gangrape case was welcomed by the Congress and human rights activists today. It stated that all the victims of the 2002 Gujarat riots should get justice. Apart from upholding the conviction of the lower court, the HC set aside the acquittal of five policemen.
