Omicron sub-variant BA.2.75 has been detected in more than half of the samples, analysed as part of a study, from COVID-19 patients in Delhi, LNJP Hospital's MD Dr Suresh Kumar said on Saturday. BA.2.75 is spreading faster than other variants and "escaping immunity", Dr Kumar said. The Omicron sub-variant was first detected in India in June.
