Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Sunday declared that 40 per cent of the state will be observing a lockdown for a week starting March 22. The Odisha government has announced a lockdown in five districts- Khurdha, Cuttack, Ganjam, Kendrapada, Angul- till 9 pm on March 22. This lockdown will also be in effect in the towns of Puri, Rourkela, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda, Balasore, Jajpur town and Bhadrak till March 29.
