A woman journalist has filed an FIR against actor-turned-politician Anubhav Mohanty for alleged misbehaviour at Purighat Police Station. According to sources, the woman journalist was being harassed by the newly elected MP’s brother and therefore had gone to the latter’s residence on June 12 to complain of the same.

The woman journalist claims that Anubhav abused and misbehaved with her. She has also alleged in the report that the parliamentarian spat on her and also pushed her. A case under IPC sections- 294, 354 (A), 323, 34 has been registered against Anubhav and his brother, Anuprash based on the complaint filed by the scribe.
