National Stock Exchange on Wednesday (5th June 2024) registered a new world record of handling highest ever number of transactions in a single day. NSE CEO Ashish Chauhan posted on X, that the this stock market handled 1971 crore (19.71 billion) orders in a day, and 28.55 crore (280.55 million) trades.
