National Security Adviser (NSA) Ajit Doval has arrived Srinagar without any prior notice while his tour to Kashmir Valley. This tour of Doval has been kept a quite secret. It is said that officials were informed about arrival of the NSA just hours before arriving in Srinagar. He has been meeting different officers of the army for past two days.
So far, no information has been leaked that for which secret mission Doval has reached Srinagar. It is said that during his visit he has also blessed at Amarnath (Baba Barfani). It is the first visit of Doval after Modi Government has come to power. His visit to Kashmir has accelerated rumours about the removal of Article 370 and 35A.
It is reported that Doval has reached valley with a purpose to take a look over the security system. He visited Governor’s Advisor Vijay Kumar, DGP Dilbag Singh, Chief Secretary BVR Subrahmanyam and IG SP Pani. He also met IB officials during his visit to Kashmir. No information has yet come into flash as to which topics have been discussed during Doval’s Visit.
