North Korea on Thursday fired a short-range ballistic missile toward waters off its western coast, South Korea's military said. According to local media reports, as many as six missiles were fired at the same time.
The latest missile launches came at a time when the United States and South Korea prepare to hold their biggest joint military training exercises, Freedom Shield, next week, reported AP.
